Alerts are used by the CPG platform to indicate something happened and that a person may want to evaluate a situation.

Alert Types
Alerts have been predefined and configured to identify a value that has gone outside a set threshold or has met a defined condition.
Following are the different alert types:

The fields in the Alert Type dialog are defined below.
- System – the name of the monitored system
- Monitor – the battery monitor manufacturer
- Manufacturer – battery manufacturer
- Model – battery model type
- String – string ID that alert is on
- Unit – battery ID that alert is on
- Installed – battery installation date in years
- Alert – name of the alert
- Tags – CPG assigns tags to alert
- Age – alert age
- Ohmic – ohmic value of battery
- Ohmic Rise – ohmic rise % from battery baseline ohmic value
- Ohmic Diff – % battery ohmic difference from average battery ohmic on string
- Voltage – battery voltage value
- IRR – Impedance Rise Rate – measures the rate of change on the impedance curve
- Name – the name of the Alert type
- Temp – temperature values associated with the alert
- Initial Message – information regarding the alert at start time
